GREER, S.C. (AP) -- BWM is opening a new health center for its workers at its plant in Greer.

The Herald-Journal of Spartanburg reported the $5 million facility opened Tuesday.

The center will provide health, dental, vision and physical therapy services to full-time BMW employees, eligible retirees and their dependents.

The center is operated by a division of Walgreens Co., and includes 18 exam rooms, a vision center, a dental office, physical therapy room and a pharmacy. It expects to have 60 health professionals by the end of the year.

The company will treat patients ages 2 and older.

The company hopes to open the center to its contingency workers by the end of the year.

BMW employs more than 7,000 people.
