AIKEN COUNTY, SC (WACH) - A  hit and run collision that left a pedestrian dead Saturday night is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Authorities say a a person was struck and killed around 11:45 p.m. Saturday on SC Primary Highway 302 near Perron Garvin Road by a 1999-2006, metallic blue Volvo S-80.

Troopers say the suspect vehicle may have a damaged amber parking light on the front of the vehicle and possibly a damaged front bumper.
