RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WACH) - Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott says an arrest has been made in an armed robbery and kidnapping that occurred Saturday night.

Deputies have arrested Timothy Deaigo Taylor, 43, who is accused of forcing a male victim to drive Taylor to different locations at gunpoint to find money around 9:30 p.m. Saturday. He is charged with armed robbery, kidnapping and possession of a stolen pistol.

According to authorities, the victim even took Taylor to his home and gave him $30 before driving Taylor to Redwood Court and dropping him off. The victim contacted police after leaving the area.

Lott says Taylor was arrested at the location where the victim dropped him off. Deputies found a gun magazine in his pocket and an additional search of the house turned up a stolen handgun.

Taylor was taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
