GEORGETOWN, S.C. (AP) -- Seven people, including four students, were taken to the hospital when an SUV collided with a school bus in Georgetown.

It happened on Thursday about 8 a.m. A spokesman for the Georgetown County schools says the four children suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for observation.

The bus driver and two people in the SUV were also taken to the hospital. All of them were also reported to have minor injuries.

Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Sonny Collins says the accident happened when a Ford Expedition sideswiped a car stopped in the road. The SUV continued on and then hit the school bus.

It took authorities about an hour to clear away the wreck.
