COLUMBIA (WACH/AP)--Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin will be making Christmas brighter for more than 250 children.

Benjamin will be at the Greenview Park and Community Center in Columbia on Thursday night handing out toys donated to Toys For Tots.

Officials say more than 250 underprivileged children signed up to receive the toys.

Benjamin will be joined by Columbia City Councilman Sam Davis.
