A Wild West Wednesday – Sort of

It was a wild west Wild Wednesday at Riverbanks Zoo.  Did you know that even ponies have favorite things?

It’s true!  Are you curious?

Fred: dried leaves, swinging jolly ball with treats inside

Willie: splashing around in the river and eating apple pieces

Caroline: splashing around in the river, she really likes to eat her treats – apples and carrots

Bear: splashing around in the river, any type of browse and when little girls pet his head

Spooky: walking really fast and giving rides, apples and carrots

Jake: grazing at the river, sunbathing, puzzle feeders

Speaking of Riverbanks, you may have heard about the newest member of the Riverbanks family, Winston the Giraffe, which was announced on Tuesday.  This morning, Good Day and WACH Fox had an exclusive LIVE look at the 6 week old long neck.

It is the time of year that many people and even businesses all partner to ensure that every child get’s to experience the joy of opening a present on Christmas morning.  Vinnie Capizzi from Crown Communities joined us to invite folks to drop off toys at any of their properties.

Tweeters, unite

Stephen Miano stopped by today with exciting news for tweeters – Big changes for Twitter begin today.

What are the changes?  So glad you asked, according to Stephen, says that absolutely no functionality changes. Twitter is still twitter. But this will allow people to exhibit a little more creativity on their pages, something long asked for by many. Basically you can now post your profile picture (like before), but you can also add a header picture. You can also change the background, giving you a little more creative freedom.
