GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities are investigating the murder of a 51-year-old disabled man found dead in his Greenville County home.

Deputy coroner Barry Wright says Joseph Cite was found in his bedroom and pronounced dead about 2 a.m. Tuesday. Cite had been shot multiple times.

Wright says Cite lived alone in the home in southern Greenville County.

Crite's family members say he moved in earlier this year. They say someone had kicked in his front door.
