RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WACH) - Authorities say tips lead to the identity of a suspect accused of stealing more than $1,500 worth of items from a home in Dentsville.
Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott says tips from the community led to the identity of 22-year-old Demetrius Henderson in connection with a burglary that occurred on Nov. 8 between 7 a.m. and 11:30 p.m.
Lott says the suspect in the burglary broke a window, entered the home and stole a variety of jewelry and two flat screen televisions.
Investigators are searching for Henderson and looking into his connection with additional burglaries, according to Lott.
Henderson is described as a black male who is approximately 6-foot-1-inch tall with black hair and brown eyes.
