COLUMBIA (AP) -- The State Election Commission is scheduled to hear protests in three South Carolina legislative races.

The protests Tuesday are from challengers for seats retained by Democratic state Sen. Clementa Pinckney, Democratic state Rep. Ted Vick and Republican state Sen. Shane Massey.

Pinckney's challenger says he no longer lives in the Lowcountry district he represents.

Vick's challenger says around 2,000 votes were improperly cast, while Massey's challenger says Massey did not properly file paperwork outlining economic interest -- the same problem that kicked more than 200 candidates off the ballot before the 2012 primaries.

The Election Commission will hear the protests starting at 10 a.m. in its Columbia offices.
