COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Residents at one Columbia home had a frightening morning Saturday when they realized someone was shooting bullets at their house.

Richland County Deputies showed up at the home on Hartford Street around 5:30 a.m., but the shooter had already driven away.

Residents described the shooter's car as a 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue.

Deputies later found the car unoccupied on the 1800 block of Bluebird Lane.

The Sheriff's Department is still investigating.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
