Deputies searching for robbery suspect

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WACH) - Richland County Sheriff's Deputies are on the lookout for a man who escaped a robbery scene on Broad River Road Saturday morning.

Deputy Curtis Wilson said Corie Kendall Lawrence, 31, along with two other men robbed a home on the 2800 block of Bettys Lane. Wilson said Lawrence fled the scene after he was initially in custody and being questioned by deputies. He is 6-foot-1, 154 pounds and was last seen wearing black jeans and a black hoodie.

Deputies say Lawrence also went to a home on the 100 block of Crestland Drive and took clothing. No injuries have been reported.
