NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- Police in North Charleston have arrested two suspects after one person was killed and another wounded in a shooting.

Police spokesman Spencer Pryor says officers were called to a street around 3 p.m. Sunday and found two men who had been shot.

Both were taken to the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital where one of them died. The other man is listed in critical condition.

The Charleston County coroner's office said 23-year-old Anthony Watley III, of North Charleston, died.

The injured man's name has not been released.

Pryor says officers have arrested 23-year-old Thomas Lamont Ancrum and 24-year-old Jamal Lameek Smalls and charged them with murder, armed robbery, and attempted murder. It was not clear if they have attorneys.

Pryor says officers the victims were shot during a robbery.
