COLUMBIA (WACH) - An organization that works to help sexual assault victims is asking for a helping hand from the community.

Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands is trying to restock their clothing supply after an electrical fire damaged the organization's office building last month.

Workers say their clothing supply was ruined in the fire and they are trying to restock.

People who have the ability to donate are asked to bring new clothes with tags such as yogo pants, underwear and childrens items to the Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands office at 2711 Middleburg Drive, Suite 212.

The Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands' 24-hour hotline is open for calls at 803-771-7273 for Richland and Lexington or 1-800-491-7273 for Newberry and Sumter.
