Columbia Police said a robber held up a local shoe store on Garner's Ferry Road.

COLUMBIA (WACH) -- A shoe store on Garner's Ferry Road was held up Tuesday morning.
According to Columbia Police, a man walked into the Shoe Show on Garner's Ferry Road around 10 A.M., as the store was opening.
Police say the suspect showed a gun to the clerk and forced her into a room in the rear of the store and locked her in.
Officers say the man took cash from the store before fleeing the scene.
The worker was freed from the back room.
