COLUMBIA (WACH) - Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott says an arrest has been made in connection with a shooting that occurred last week at a soccer complex.
According to Lott, Quezada Martin was arrested Friday and charged with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of pointing and presenting a weapon.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the incident that happened just after 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9 at a soccer complex on Polo Road.
Authorities say approximately 10 to 12 men were involved in an argument in the Polo Road parking lot and Martin is believed to be one of the men involved.
Lott says the argument turned physical. At that point, Martin is accused of firing shots.
