GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan will be in Greenville later this month for a private fundraiser.

The Greenville News reported that former South Carolina GOP chairman Barry Wynn says the breakfast will be at the home of Greenville developer Phil Hughes on Oct. 26.

Wynn is the finance co-chairman for Mitt Romney's presidential campaign in South Carolina. He says the event could attract 100 people.

Tickets are $1,000, with special photo opportunities for those donating $5,000. Those who give $25,000 can attend a private reception with Ryan.

Ryan is not scheduled to campaign publicly in South Carolina. Wynn says the money will be spent in swing states.

Neither Republicans nor Democrats are expected to spend much in South Carolina since the state is considered firmly in Romney's camp.
