COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Columbia Police Chief Randy Scott says the five people accused of using hotel rooms as meth labs are now behind bars.

Tips into the Crimestoppers hotline lead police to find the two meth labs.

The first meth lab was at the Studio Plus Hotel located at 180 Stoneridge Drive.

Cody Lee Hobrick, Ashley Renee Ellett and Krista Marie Suchy are charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of heroin, possession of schedule iv substance and simple possession of marijuana.

The next bust was at a hotel room at Extended Stay America at 450 Gracern Road.

Police say mother and son duo Robin Ann Gleaton and Dalton Justin Howard are charged with manufacturing methamphetamine from the Extended Stay.

CPD called SLED for help in cleaning up both meth labs.
