COLUMBIA (WACH) - The Richland County Sheriff's Department is investigating an incident in which deputies discovered a partially burned body in a car parked in a lot on Alpine Road.

Spokesperson Curtis Wilson says investigators are interviewing a man about the incident, which they are treating as a homicide.  The victim was a female.
