COLUMBIA (WACH) - CrimeStoppers with information on the whereabouts of a 20-year-old man wanted for an alleged assault and armed robbery.
Arrest warrants have been drawn for Tyrone Derek Mitchell-Blakeney. When arrested, he is expected to be charged with First Degree Assault and Battery, Robbery (Common Law).He and three co-defendants are accused of robbing and beating a man at 2108 Devine Street on May 18, 2012 shortly after 1 o’clock in the morning.
Police say Mitchell-Blakeney stole several hundred dollars from the victim.
The co-defendants have already arrested. Ryan Madison Floyd, 22, is charged with First Degree Assault and Battery, Robbery (Common Law) and Drug Possession. Deric M.J. Mason, 21, is charged with First Degree Assault and Battery and Robbery (Common Law). Lane Michael McCartney, 21, is charged with First Degree Assault and Battery and Robbery (Common Law).
The victim received medical treatment for his non-life threatening injuries.
