AIKEN County, SC (WACH) - An Aiken County man is dead after a Sunday night motorcycle crash.

Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton says 60-year-old Jerry Sirard was traveling south on Old Barnwell Road near Deer Run Road around 11 p.m. Sunday when he drifted off of the road and struck a tree.

According to Carlton, Sirard was riding at 1972 Harley Davidson and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
