Early morning shooting sends woman to the hospital

COLUMBIA, SC (WACH)-  An early morning shooting sends a woman to the hospital.

According to Richland County Sheriff's Department spokesman deputy Curtis Wilson, a woman was shot at a home on Kathleen Drive in the St. Andrews area of Columbia.  The woman was hit in the upper body.

Wilson says the Department has a 31-year-old male suspect named Darrell Sims.  He is charged with Criminal Domestic Violence  of a High and Aggravated Nature.

Anyone with more information is asked to call the Richland County Sheriff's Department at 576-1440.
