KERSHAW COUNTY, SC (WACH) - Three individuals have been arrested by officers with the Kershaw County Sheriff's Office following a drive-by shooting that occurred Tuesday.

Sheriff Jim Matthews says Christopher Boykin was standing in front of the Kangaroo Express gas station on Jefferson Davis Highway when a Chrysler Sebring, reportedly occupied by Clifton Galloway, 24, Brittany Boykin, 27, and Latasha Bobbit, 31, drove up and stopped. One suspect pointed a shotgun at Boykin, but did not shoot. Another suspect fired one round at Boykin from a .40 caliber gun, but missed. The driver sped off.

Authorities say the identity of the three suspects was acquired by investigating officers who obtained arrest warrants before taking the suspects into custody. They are all charged with attempted murder.

According to Matthews, Bobbit has an extensive criminal record dating back to 2001. Galloway has two prior arrests. Boykin has no previous arrests.

Bobbit, Galloway and Boykin are awaiting a bond hearing at the Kershaw County Detention center.
