ORANGEBURG, SC (WACH) - A man accused of using a cement block to bust a window at a convenience store in Orangeburg and stealing 12 cases of beer has been arrested.

Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says Timothy Stewart of St. Matthews was arrested Saturday, June 23 on a charge of burglary following an incident with St. Matthews police officers involving an investigation of a similar crime.

Authorities say the Quick Pantry on Bamberg Road was broken into on June 20 during "nighttime hours."

Stewart is being held on a $10,000 bond.
