Vigil for missing Lexington County man to be held tonight

LEXINGTON, S.C. -- The family of a Lexington County man who went missing a few days before Christmas will hold a vigil in his honor Monday night.

Twenty-two-year-old Michael George disappeared after he went to Shooters Bar and Grill in Cayce December 23rd of last year. Authorities say they don't have a lot of information, but they believe he left with someone.  George’s car was later found abandoned.

The vigil will take place Monday at 6 p.m. at Virginia Park in Lexington. The public is encouraged to attend.

Anyone with information that could help authorities in the case is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-Crime SC.
