KINARDS, SC (WACH / FOX Carolina)- Newberry County Sheriff Lee Foster tells WACH-TV a half-mile portion of Hwy. 76  and Highway 560 in west Newberry County near Kinards is being evacuated due to an overturned 18-wheel truck.

The truck is said to be carrying ammonium nitrate fertilizer and is leaking diesel fuel.  That combination is highly explosive when mixed in high concentrations.

Drivers are told to stay away from the area and use Interstate 26 to get around the area.

According to Fox Carolina, deputies said it should take about three hours to clear the crash.
