COLUMBIA (WACH) - Call it the Rivalry Regional.

Three of the best college baseball programs in South Carolina, including arch-rivals USC and Clemson, plus a team from New York will battle at Carolina Stadium in the NCAA Division I Columbia Regional.

USC is one of 16 regional hosts. South Carolina, Clemson, Coastal Carolina and Manhattan College will kick-off the regional Friday afternoon.

Clemson and Coastal Carolina will take the field at noon, and South Carolina and Manhattan will play at 4 p.m.  The games will be televised on ESPNU.

USC is also a "top 8" national seed, meaning it will host a Super Regional if it wins the regional.  In the national bracket, the Columbia regional is matched up with the Charlottesville Regional, hosted by the University of Virginia.
