GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities say a teenage suspect has been rearrested after climbing out the window of a Greenville patrol car.

Greenville police say the teen was arrested Saturday and charged with being in possession of a stolen vehicle.

Police say the teen was in the back of the patrol car waiting to be transferred to jail and told authorities he was having trouble breathing. The officer rolled down the window, and the 17-year-old escaped.

At around 10 p.m. Saturday, an officer spotted the teen and arrested him after a short chase. His name has not been released..
