COLUMBIA (WACH) -- We've all heard of rogue security apps, Malware infections that can take over your computer, steal your identity, and wreak havoc in your personal life.

But this July, hundreds of thousands of users will see their Internet connections terminated.

The F.B.I. shut down a ring of international hackers that created a viral network to control access for infected computers. The hackers were redirecting users to fraudulent websites.

The F.B.I. has created a website to tell you if you're infected with this particular virus. It's at www.dcwg.org.

This page will help you determine if you're infected. But BEWARE! This page only checks for this one particular virus, and there are literally hundreds of other similar threats.
