A Leesville man was killed Thursday night in a one-vehicle car crash.

CAYCE, SC (WACH) - A Leesville man was killed Thursday night in a one-vehicle car crash. 

Timothy O. Ellisor, 30, was traveling westbound on Edmund Highway in Cayce around 7 p.m. when he lost control of his 2004 Ford Ranger, according to Lexington County Deputy Coroner Helen Gamble.

Gamble says Ellisor ran off the road and hit a tree. After being removed from the vehicle, he was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
