COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities say a woman whose body was found near an abandoned homeless camp in Columbia was in a relationship with a man charged in another death.

Columbia police say 24-year-old Rachel Goodnight was in a relationship with 41-year-old Lawrence Stevens. Investigators say the pair came to Columbia from Pennsylvania in December for a fresh start.

Goodnight's body was found last week. Coroner Gary Watts said she died from a blow to the head.

Stevens has been charged with giving false information in the death of 51-year-old Richard Kinsley Jr., whose body was found earlier this month in the same area. Peter Edward Chalers has been charged with accessory after the fact of murder in his death.

No arrests have been made in Goodnight's death.
