Suspect barricades himself after early morning shooting

COLUMBIA (WACH) -- The Richland County Sheriff’s Department has made an arrest in an early morning shooting. 

Authorities responded to a domestic disturbance call at 156 Stroy Road in Columbia at approximately 6:20 Monday morning.  When deputies arrived on scene they found an unidentified woman shot in the upper body.  She was transported to Palmetto Richland Hospital, and her condition is unknown.

After barricading himself in the house, Harvey King, the suspect in the shooting & the victim's husband, was arrested for attempted murder.
