COLUMBIA: S.C. - Former President Bill Clinton will deliver the spring 2012 commencement address for Columbia College, President Caroline Whitson announced today.

"The global work of former President Clinton through his foundation is an inspiring model for our graduates who have been challenged at Columbia College to use their educations to make a difference in the world. President Clinton's mission to engage the next generation of leaders to solve global challenges is a message that is so fitting for our students," Whitson said. "Columbia College graduates will be among those seeking solutions for 21st century issues from social justice to education. "

The ceremony will be held May 5, 2012, in Township Auditorium. Columbia College will award degrees to approximately 235 undergraduate women's college and evening program students at spring commencement.
