Here is your Good Day Columbia GDC Morning WACH for 2-23-12
So let me paint you a picture. 5:55 am, the cleaning guy is making things spiffy for the day, the elevator opens, and this group walks off. What a way to start a Wednesday!!!
Phineas, Ferb, dancers, and even Dr. Doofenshmirtz joined us to a dance number and to invite everyone to their 2 show stop at the Colonial Life Arena on Friday. You can get tickets online at www.LMCtix.com or at the Lexington medical Center Box Office at the Colonial Life Arena, or by calling 1-855-456-2849. Tickets start at $19.00. Want to see their early morning dance? Check it out HERE.
In addition to Black History Month, February is also National Children’s Dental Health Month. Dr. James A. Greene joined us on the show to talk about his program offering services to children who don’t have insurance to pay for check-ups and dental work. You can learn about his program HERE. Dr. Green’s practice is located at 2719 Middleburg Drive. You can also call him, 803-988-0201
Annie Schick and Megan Reidy from the USC School of Dance, the largest student run philanthropy in the state, were guests, talking about their upcoming dance marathon. The marathon is planned for February 24 and 25 at the Strom Thurmond Wellness Center.
Did you hear about Fraendy’s rather un-friendly Facebook folly? Someone hacked his page, changing his password, pictures, and wrecking havoc in his social media world. It was Stephen Miano to the rescue! Has it happened to you? HERE is what Fraendy learned.
Jeffrey Lampkin celebrated Black History Month with lessons in hair. What did we learn from Jeehan Dinwiddie from Salon Lola? Glad you asked. Just click HERE.
Tyler decided to go under the needle this morning…well, sort of. Linda Farell from the Minute Clinic shared information about the top 5 vaccines that adults should have, but don’t.
1) INFLUENZA
2) TDAP
3) PNEUMOCOCCAL
4) HPV
5) MENINGOCOCCAL
So in the end, Tyler faced his fear, and got a stick. Check it out HERE.
