COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Some students at Crayton Middle School getting an outer space lesson.
Through a video conference they were able to speak live with two astronauts aboard the International Space Station Wednesday morning.
They spoke with NASA’s Expedition 30 Commander Dan Burbank and the Flight Engineer Don Petit.
According to Principal Susan Childs, Crayton Middle was one of three schools across the nation that was chosen to take part in this outer space video conference event.
Childs says a group of students were selected to ask the questions.
Questions ranged from life in outer space to research.
This event was broadcast live on NASA television.
