COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- Leaders from Columbia and Richland County are getting together to talk with area lawmakers about economic development.

The Columbia City Council and the Richland County Council are partnering with the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce for a "Dinner and Dialogue" on Wednesday night at the Tapp's Center for the Arts in Columbia.

Organizers say the "Dinner and Dialogue" also involves members of the legislative delegation from Richland County.

The event is focused on discussions concerning intergovernmental cooperation and regional economic development.
