Lexington County, SC(WACH)- A pedestrian died after being struck by a truck. The driver fled the scene. Trooper Brent Kelly says the incident happened Wednesday on SC-302 near.around 6:40pm just the east. The victim, Irma L. Hudson died at the scene.
The Highway Patrol is looking for a 1998-2002 GMC Sierra pickup with Texas license plate number BC 49014. The truck may have damage to the right center of its grill. SCHP is also seeking a person of interest, Romeo Romero, Jr.
The case remains under investigation by the highway patrol.
