GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities say a 73-year-old Greenville man riding his bicycle to the store has been struck and killed by a car.

Investigators said James Frazier died at the hospital a short time after he was hit around 6:30 p.m. Thursday on state Highway 183.

Authorities say Frazier was just a few blocks from his home.

The Highway Patrol is investigating the wreck. The name of the driver who struck Frazier has not been released, and no charges have been filed.
