LEXINGTON, SC (WACH) - A pedestrian was killed Tuesday night after being struck by an SUV in Lexington.
A Lexus SUV traveling west along West Main Street in front of K-Mart struck and killed a pedestrian who was attempting to cross the roadway.
The street was temporarily closed, but is now open.
The Lexington Police Department and the Lexington County Coroner's Office are investigating the collision.
The identity of the deceased is beign withheld pending notification of family members.
