COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Open wide!  A Columbia dental clinic is offering free dental screenings Wednesday for children during Healthy Smile, Healthy Child Day.

Small Smiles Dental Center is offering the free check-ups.  They say an estimated one in five children go without dental care each year.

The event is taking place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Small Smiles is located at 3000 Two Notch Road, and parents interested in scheduling an appointment for their child are encouraged to call (803) 691-9930.
