National Parks honor MLK Jr. with free admission

This weekend the United States National Parks will offer free admission to all 397 locations in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

There are six national parks in South Carolina:

-Cowpens National Battlefield

-Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail

-Ninety-Six National Historic Site

-Charles Pinckney Historic Site

-Fort Sumter National Monument

-Kings Mountain National Military Park

If you're looking to take a trip outside of the Palmetto State to commorate the day, visit the National Park Service website for a complete list.
