Greenwood County hopes foundry will reinforce job market

COLUMBIA (WACH) -- A new facility in Greenwood County promises to bring in 50 new jobs.

Crown Casting Industries made the $16 million investment announcement Tuesday, saying they would open up shop in Greenwood County.

The company is a modern iron and bronze foundry.

The facility will be located in Hodges and is expected to be open sometime in the Spring.
