Mitt Romney campaigned in Charleston Thursday with Sen. John McCain and Governor Haley
CHARLESTON (WACH/AP)—Stating that President Obama is “way over his head,” Mitt Romney, Sen. John McCain, and Governor Nikki Haley campaigned in Charleston on Thursday.
While 2008 GOP presidential candidate Sen. McCain referred to Romney as a man with “experience, the talent, and the vision to bring America back,” Governor Haley predicted that Romney will win the January 21 South Carolina primary at the Charles Towne Landing campaign stop.
The Governor went on to point out that although some believe that Romney’s Mormon religion may create an issue for Evangelical votes in South Carolina, she as a child of immigrants from India.
Romney, who is making a show of force in the Palmetto State by peeling away from New Hampshire’s first in the nation primary, is scheduled to appear in Conway on Friday.
