Boil Water Advisory for sections of West Columbia

West Columbia, SC (WACH) - According to officials with The City of West Columbia, a boil water advisory was issued Wednesday afternoon and will remain in effect until further notice.

The water line break affects all water customers in the following area: Bensmin Drive, Dalewood Drive, Kirkwood Drive, Morningdale Drive, Sandalwood Drive, Shampy Street, the 2800 through 2825 block of Franklin Street, the 2600 through 2900 block of Rainbow Drive, and the 2811 through 2825 block of Wilton Road. 

Water service is currently unavailable for the listed area. Once water service is restored, customers are advised to boil any water to be used for consumption.

This advisory has been lifted. Water service is restored.
