Gingrich to hold town hall and lunch in Columbia

COLUMBIA (AP)--Newt Gingirch's last campaign stop in the Republican presidential race before Christmas is going to be in Columbia.

The former U.S. House Speaker is having a town hall at Christmas lunch Friday at The Blue Marlin restaurant.

Gingrich has led polls in South Carolina in recent weeks, but there hasn't been a poll released since Gov. Nikki Haley announced she was endorsing former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney last week.
