COLUMBIA (WACH)-- Richland County deputies have arrested two people they say stabbed a man before the USC-Clemson football game.

24-year-old Dustin Haile is charged with attempted murder and 25-year-old Adam Rodriguez is charged with assault by mob.

Sheriff Leon Lott says the men got into an argument with the victim at Bluff Road and Hemlock Drive over moving barricades at a tailgating spot.

Authorities say Haile and the victim started fighting when Rodriguez joined in and punched the man. According to investigators, during the fight Haile stabbed the victim, sending him to Palmetto Richland Hospital in critical condition.
