KERSHAW COUNTY (WACH) – Lugoff Fire Depatrment hosted a mock terrorist drill Tuesday, with the help of the State National Guard 43rd Civil Support Unit.

Lugoff fire officials responded to the scene of the drill first. They assessed the situation and practiced calling in other Kershaw county responders.

Those who are part of the hazardous material team arrived, and prepared by putting on Haz-Mat suits.

Drills like this happen every 6 months, due to the planning and manpower needed.
