CAMDEN (WACH) - One of two suspects accused of breaking into vending machines in Kershaw County last week has been arrested.
Camden Police Chief Joe Floyd said Darius Davis is charged with two counts of malicious injury to real property. Floyd says a family member convinced Davis to turn himself in, after seeing this story air on WACH-Fox Wednesday.
Floyd says police are still looking for Davis' accomplice, Randy Warren.
Davis, and an anonymous tipster confirmed to police that Warren was also involved in the thefts.
The owner of the Comfort Inn and Holiday Inn Express on Sumter Highway turned over surveillance video showing the pair breaking into three machines. He says the may have caused thousands of dollars in damage.
