YORK, S.C. (AP) -- A man has died after the 1923 Ford Model T he was driving ran off the road and hit a ditch in York County.

Troopers say the man was driving the classic car with a teen passenger on a rural road near York around 3 p.m. Sunday when the one-car wreck happened.

Both men were ejected from the car, and they weren't wearing seat belts. But troopers say they aren't required in cars that did not have them as original equipment.

Investigators say the driver died at the scene, while the teen was taken to the hospital by helicopter. Their names have not been released.
