FOUNTAIN INN, S.C. (AP, WACH) -- An industrial hydraulic piston unit and pump manufacturer is adding 160 jobs at its Fountain Inn facility.

Bosch Rexroth Corporation officials said Monday the company was investing $80 million in its existing plant over the next five years.

In the works is a new building and a bridge to connect it to an existing facility. Officials say the new building will let them make more and different kinds of pumps, and the company says it will begin hiring for the jobs before the end of the year.

Gov. Nikki Haley was on hand for the announcement.

Last year, Bosch Rexroth announced it was moving some of its operations from Texas to South Carolina and spending about $10 million to add hydraulic motors used in oil drilling, transportation and other industries.

Company officials say anyone interested in applying for a job should call 864-263-4401.
