COLUMBIA (WACH) -- A Boil Water Advisory has been issued for the Allbene Park Subdivision located in the Hopkins Community of Lower Richland County due to a water line break. Residents are advised to boil their water for one full minute before using for drinking, cooking, or ice.
Calls of a water outage were received around 7:45 p.m. on November 9, 2011. Emergency crews have been dispatched to repair the break.
There are approximately 39 houses on the system.
The South Carolina Dept. of Health and Environmental Control has been made aware of the break.
